Subject Problems with java coding...
Hi all. I am new to Java (used to c++) , actually just started learning it for the purpose of this competition, but my coding is too slow because of some problems that i don't know how to resolve. The system is similar to that of "topcoder" as it uses classes and functions to give you the input and you return the output without printing it. Now , in "topcoder" arena i can easily compile and test cases, while here i just don't know how to test on my computer. For round 1 i had to test on the site and it is too slow and bothersome. So can you give me some hints? How do you manage it? I would also appreciate if you give me a link to some good Java tutorial.
10x very much...
P.S. I liked the tasks

CodeFuEdit is application that I built for parsing the problem statement and generating a starting Java code with test cases in the main function that can make the coding easier. It is just an application that helps in the starting phase, writing the class name, function name and generating test cases in the main function that by pressing run will tell you whether on those cases (that are the same as the cases on the problem description) your program passes or fails.

This program is a tool that i build independently. I haven't finished yet, so it is in some "beta" phase i might say so i gave it to some friends that i know to test it. When i finish it i will put it on my blog so all can download it.
