I'm very curious how the multiplication factors were chosen, what's the theory behind? As far as I know, the probability of picking a position largely depends on the number of competitors. For some number of competitors, for example, 46, the distribution is rather uniform, but for some other number, for example, 44, will be very different for each position.

Also, I think a simple sum of the lotto numbers, without any multiplication, will produce uniform distribution for more numbers of competitors than the current algorithm.
